                                                  WHY DO PEOPLE LIE?
      Lying is an attitude that people apply to when they do not want to explain the truth or they want to hush up any events. The moment human beings come across any situation threatening them, they might lie to defend themselves. Fear and pressure are main reasons to lie for people. There are many factors affecting people to lie. These are familial, environmental and social factors.
     The familial factors are the first reasons to apply lie for people. As long as one of the family members lies, the others also emulate his or her and lie. As the family is the first ambiance where people have been, it has important role on people’s characters. People learn what is true and wrong thanks to their families. The moment individuals realize their family’s member lies, they think they can also tell a lie. Unless they are warned about lying by their parents, they get used to lying and it becomes late to efface this behavior. At the same time, people tell lie not to disappoint their family. For example, when a child cannot pass his exams, he might not tell the truth to his family for fear of disappointing his family.
     The environmental factors are the second reasons to apply lie for people. When people do not want their special lives to be known by others, they conceal the reality or tell lie not to be excluded. For example, they conceal their poverty or their any deficiency from people who are surrounding. People lie to reach their goals. For example, a mother who is far away from their children wants to see them. She knows that they are busy and they will not come without urgent situation so that she says to them she is ill.
     The social factors are the third reasons to apply lie for people. Because people want to be respected and admired by society, they apply to lying. They want to be seen trustful. On the other hand, people are affected social point of view. They also try to adjust to this outlook. When they do not have enough features for it, they lie to be recognized. At the same time, people tell lie to get power over other people. For example, a political candidate makes promises which are not generally kept about some regulations so as to be elected and get power.
     For all you see, people can tell a lie for many reasons. They apply to lying to avoid punishment, get a reward, protect themselves, get out of awkward situation, maintain privacy, get power over others and so on. Being different from these reasons, people lie with good intention like a lie in order to make surprise. If it is necessary to classify the reason of lying, we can mention familial, environmental and social factors.

                                     WHY DO THE STUDENTS CHEAT?

      Cheating can be defined as to be used prohibited resources, to be done the homework by someone else or to be answered questions using book, telephone or anyone else’s paper in the exam. The cheating causes to misjudge the students for the teacher.  The grades taken thanks to the cheating do not reflect the success of the students. There are many reasons to copy for the students. Why the students cheat on the exams depends on these factors: the education based on memorization, the attitudes of the teachers, the fear of flunk-inability to skip class- and the best grade pressure of families.
       The first reason to cheat for the students is education system based on memorization. Today’s education system includes many lectures, most of them require memorization to keep in mind. The teachers have difficulty in teaching these lessons to the students. Both the teachers and the students are aware of the obligation of memorization for these lessons. However, some students do not have the ability of memorization despite many efforts. The necessity of cheating comes out for the students precisely in this situation. The students have no choice but to pass class and have weak memory apply to the cheating.
       The second reason to cheat for the students is the attitudes of the teachers on the success of the students. The success of the students affects the relation between their teachers. The students want to be appreciated by taking consider the grades of exams by their teachers. If the students become unsuccessful on the exams, they think that they fall from favour. The students who want to keep good relation with their teachers apply to cheating wrongly. If the teachers rely on to be successful of their students in spite of bad marks and give enough interest to them, they try to do their task by themselves without copying.
        The third reason to cheat for the students is the fear of flunk. Every student wants to be good at their lessons without giving enough effort. They try to be on the same level with their hardworking friends. When their effort becomes insufficient and the fear of being back from their friends comes out, the students apply to the cheating to skip their class. They feel to be disdained by their friends and teachers when they imagine that they cannot skip the class.
        The final reason to cheat for the students is the best grade pressure of families. The parents want their children to be the best in school from the first day of school to the last day. They provide their children what they need for school success. As the students want to please their parents for their sacrifice, they do their best. Unfortunately, the cheating is one of them. The parents should accept their children as they are, and they should not pressurize their children about good mark. They should teach them to be honest from the beginning.

        In conclusion, education system, the attitudes of the teachers, the fear of flunk and the family pressure are some factors which direct the students to the cheating. Actually, there is one thing that the reasons and the results of these factors depend on this. What is this? This is the sense of conscience gotten by the morality. As long as this concept exists in the students, there is not any effect of other reasons to cheat. To keep alive this concept; the parents and the teachers should work in cooperation and accomplish for the students

                             THE TYPES OF STUDENT
      All of us meet with many kinds of student character during our school life. Most of them are remembered by their friends and teachers due to their eccentric personalities. These types of student are a source of entertainment for other students and they give a reason to their friends to come to school changing the monotonous air of school. However, they also may get on the others nerves. Students are divided into many characteristic features, some of them are diligence, profiteering, capability, informing ad tattling.
     The first type is the diligent students. They are keen on studying a lot. During the lecture, they work out the problems even while the teacher is writing them. This situation makes other students angry because they do not learn anything from the lecture. The diligent students generally use glasses due to the fact that they study a lot and give harm to their eyes. They are known as cleverbut there are types of them that they use the technique of memorizing perfectly.
    The second type is the profiteer students. They are known as both lazy and lucky. The students of this type are not interested in school, lecture, homework. Nevertheless, they know the timetable of exams. The most important thing is to pass the exams for them. Until the day of exams, they do not anything, but they either search the notes of lectures or search someone who will lecture for themselves one day before the exam or  on the day of the exam. The most infuriating thing for other students is their getting high grades.
     The third type is the skillful students. The students of this type are capable of most things. They have a part of every student’ characteristic features in their personalities. They are successful at both lectures and social activities so, they are respected by not only students but also teachers. Thanks to their respectful personality, they are selected for either presidency of the school or captaincy of the school’s team.
     The fourth type is the finkinformer, students. They are the most common student type. There is a student like that almost in every class. Their profession is to spread the secrets of class to teachers or principal. They think that they are loved by their teachers for giving the secrets of a class. As a result of their behavior, they are the most lonely student type.
     The last type is the tattler students. They are the most remembered type by teachers and other students. They want to comment on any topic whether they have enough information about it or not. They abuse their self-confidence. In most time, they talk irrelevantly to boil the lecture. Sometimes they behave as if they did not understand anything from the lecture because they want to catch other’s attention. However, they are the source of rescuing from boring lessons for other students.
      To sum up, there are many student types that they add vitality to the schools as well as sometimes become irritating. They are not forgotten because of their different personalities by anybody. To me, there should be students like these to make school bearable and to get taste from it
